“SOMEONE… HELP…. SOMEONE, ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME…” said a panicked voice, “HA HA HA, your plea’s for help are useless down here.” Replied a deep and demonic voice. “You shall perish like your friends.” the demonic voice continued. “ I swear if I get out of here alive I’ll kill you.” “HA… NO ONE CAN KILL THE BUTCHER!!!!!!”.
Mean while in the town of Tristram, the towns Black smith; Griswold is wondering what has happened to his old friend Joseph. “Why didn’t they come back yet?” Griswold asked himself. Cain the towns elder couldn’t help but overhear Griswold. “Perhaps they just got caught up while leaving.” said Cain, Griswold turning around startled, “Oh its you.” said Griswold, “I didn’t mean to startle you, just that I couldn’t help but overhear what you had said.”
“Yeah but one of them is like a brother to me, We’ve known Each other fer years, hell he was the first person I met when I first arrived here from Scotland…. I knew I should have gone down with him and the others.”
“But if you did… Would you have survived?”
“Maybe… I don’t know… Just that at least I would know if he would have survived or not.” Just then they herd a sound, it was Joseph. Griswold “What the bloody hell happened to you?!?!”
“Th-th-the Archbishop Lazarus he-he led use into a trap... Everyone…. killed by a demon he called the butcher; I was lucky….”said Joseph “You mean that everyone died?” Griswold asked with great shock, “Yes, the weapon he wielded was enormous.” “You alright? Those wound’s look bad, I’ll go get Pepin.” said Cain.
Later that night at Pepins “I’m glad you got him here when you did. I’ don’t know how long he would have lasted with those wounds, here drink this it’ll make you feel better.” Pepin hands Joseph a vile filled with a mysterious red liquid. “So tell me, what happened down in the labyrinth?” Said pepin, Joseph began when he first entered the labyrinth.
